Coronavirus/Covid-19 - Further Update

Following the updated government guidelines, asking everyone “to stop non-essential contact with others and to stop all unnecessary travel”, the Football Association are advising that all grassroots football in England is to be postponed for the foreseeable future.
Middleton Cheney Football Club has a duty of care to protect the health and well-being of our players, coaches, their families and our wider community – therefore, we will be ceasing involvement in all matches, cancelling all training sessions and reviewing the social and fundraising events that are planned for the coming months.
We will continue to monitor the advice from government, and will take guidance from the FA with regard to resuming any football related activity.
The current situation continues to be a difficult and challenging time for us all, and while we appreciate that not everyone will agree with the decisions being made, we thank you for your continued support and understanding.
